All journeys into the unknown are frightening. Perhaps the thing that frightens us the most is we know we will never come back as the same person. Our relations with others will change. Our outlook on the world will change. We will lose much while we gain more. Of course it's terrifying. It's more terrifying to stay where we are and be left behind.
